Evaluate methanol and isopropanol toxicity, alcohol (ethanol) drug abuse, and ethylene glycol toxicity. Acetone is a metabolite of isopropanol and may be elevated in cases of acute isopropanol ingestion. In diabetic ketoacidosis acetone can also be found in serum concentrations up to 70 mg/dL. Test includes quantitation of Ethanol, Methanol, Isopropanol, Ethylene Glycol, and Acetone. For ethanol level only, see Ethanol.
