Send RBC’s refrigerated in in original dark blue EDTA tube after plasma has been removed. Label tube “Packed RBC’s”
RBC’s may also be sent refrigerated in a Quest trace element blood transport tube (lavender label). Label tube “Packed RBC’s”

Centrifuge, separate, remove plasma, and send 0.5 mL RBC’s refrigerated in the original dark blue EDTA tube after plasma has been removed. Please label tube “Packed RBC’s”
