Centrifuge and separate serum from cells as soon as possible. Send 2.0mL serum in a blue capped ARUP metal-free screw capped plastic vial. Specimens in other containers will be rejected.

Stability

If the specimen is drawn and stored in the appropriate container the trace element values do not change with time.
