Additional Information
CRP values are known to fluctuate in both stable heart disease and in healthy individuals. Extrapolation of CRP data from selective clinical studies to the broad clinical setting may be problematic when attempting to stratify coronary risk from a single CRP value. Multiple measurements of CRP and correlation with other clinical measurements of cardiac risk is recommended.
