PEAK AND TROUGH DRUG LEVELS SHOULD BE DRAWN DURING THE SAME DOSE CYCLE WITH THE PEAK DRAWN (45-60 min post IM; immediately after 60 min. IV dose or 30 min after 30 min IV dose), AND THE TROUGH DRAWN (immediately prior to the next dose).
